MARIE ISABLE SCHLACHTER

March 3rd 2007 - August 28th, 2009

Marie was born March 3, 2007 in Holyoke to Lucas and Shannon Schlachter.
She was diagnosed with a debilitating neurological mitochondrial disorder early on but that did not define her.

Marie was a lesson in faith, joy, and hope and she bettered the lives of everyone who knew her.

Her final days were not spent suffering but in swinging, eating ice cream, and being with her family.

A memorial fund has been set up at First Pioneer National Bank. Memorial contributions will be divided between Eli’s Angels and Hospice of the Plains.

Please Continue To Pray For This Family As They Begin The Healing Process

UPDATES

I am doing my best to keep you all updated on each little one represented here. I am aiming for monthly updates, but please be patient as the parents get their information to me. Their plates are full and one more task for them to do sometimes can be overwhelming. You will notice on some of the posts I have added (UPDATED) this will be followed by a date (June 10) and will represent the last time this child's info was changed. I hope this helps in keeping you all well informed and how God is working in these special lives. Thank you again for your patience.

If you have specific questions, please e-mail me at hislittlelambs@msn.com and I will respond to you directly. I have to ask that you please do not ask me questions within your comments for these families, these comments will not be publish.

THIS IS MY VISION... THIS IS MY HOPE

Prayers For Little Angels was created so there would be a special spot to visit, read and pray for all the special little angels that we have come to know through this wonderful world of blogging.

I was finding it difficult to remember throughout the day to pray for each one and would feel saddened when I forgot. So, having a place to come to with sweet photos & requests seemed like a pretty good idea.

I have been given permission to post photo's, prayer & praise request by parents... Please be respectfull when using this site.

It is my vision & hope with much prayer, that I will be able to start fundraisers/donations for those in need. I'm not sure how right this moment, but I 'm praying my way through it.

I also hope to honor a child's life by giving tribute to them and their family.

It is my prayer that this site will be a blessing to you as you bless the little lives of each little angel with your prayers.

Psalm 139

"Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
